I’ve been fortunate enough to have a couple of motorsports articles published about my driving experiences. It was almost as much fun to see the stories in writing as it was to do the driving.
If you’ve ever been tempted to race on the street, try open tracking. One, it’s infinitely safer. Two, it’s legal and you won’t get thrown in jail for violating about 37 statutes, not to mention avoiding pissing off the police and authorities. Three, you’ll go a LOT faster on the track than you can possibly imagine.
Google “Open Track” and follow what comes up. But I give you fair warning: it’s addicting.
